Events & Activities

Where the community comes together.

From national awareness campaigns to local celebrations, Prosser Thrive shows up throughout the year with events and activities that connect, educate, and inspire.

Real activities. Real impact. Activities & Campaigns Organized by Prosser Thrive

Throughout the year, Prosser Thrive runs activities that build community, spread awareness, and give youth meaningful ways to get involved.

Sticker Shock

Youth volunteers visit local retailers to place warning stickers on alcohol products, reminding adults about the dangers of providing alcohol to minors.

Lotería

A culturally relevant community engagement activity using the traditional Mexican game of Lotería to share prevention messages in a fun, accessible format for youth and families.

Ropes Course

A team-building challenge course experience that builds trust, communication, and resilience — helping youth develop the skills they need to make good decisions under pressure.

Mental Health Awareness Week

A week of activities, resources, and conversations dedicated to breaking down stigma and connecting the Prosser community with mental health education and support.

National Drug & Alcohol Facts Week

A week of activities, resources, and conversations dedicated to breaking down stigma and connecting the Prosser community with mental health education and support.

Red Ribbon Week

America's longest-running drug prevention program, celebrated in October. We coordinate school and community activities that encourage youth to live drug-free lives.

Prosocial Activities

Ongoing fun, substance-free events that give Prosser youth healthy, engaging alternatives — because a connected community is the best prevention there is.

After Prom

A safe, supervised after-prom celebration that gives Prosser High School students a memorable night without the risks — in partnership with the school and community volunteers.

Samantha Skunk

A fun, age-appropriate prevention program for younger students that uses the character of Samantha Skunk to teach children about saying no and making safe choices.
