“Hidden in Plain Sight”

The teen years can be difficult. Indicators of teen drug use, mental health concerns, unhealthy relationships, human trafficking and other risk factors can be hidden in plain sight, but easy for parents and other adults to miss. This presentation is provided in two parts allowing all participants a unique opportunity to identify 70+ indicators of youth drug and alcohol use, mental health concerns, and risky behaviors such as sex trafficking in a mock teen bedroom. Following the walk through of the bedroom, a presentation will be provided to all attendees to further explain the items. Come and learn what is trending with youth today and how to start the conversations that sometimes can be difficult but are incredibly necessary.
